Why I’m Opening Up C2C and 1099 Work — Alongside the Full-Time Search

For the last several months, this site has told one story: I’m looking for a Strategic Operations Director-level role, W2, $110K+, remote preferred. That’s still true. It hasn’t changed.

What’s changed is that I stopped treating “actively job searching” and “actively building something” as two separate tracks that had to stay in their own lanes.

I founded Workers’ Rebellion LLC in September 2025. The first product — a job search tracking application — launched in August 2026. Since then, I’ve had a second realization: the same operational and technical skill set I’m bringing to this search — system architecture, process optimization, data management, cross-functional coordination — is exactly what a lot of companies need in short bursts, not as a full-time hire. So I built the infrastructure to offer that too.

Workers’ Rebellion LLC now takes on Corp-to-Corp and 1099 IT consulting engagements: technical analysis, system architecture, process optimization, data management and reporting, and technical documentation, on a project basis. Available now, remote or on-site in the Atlanta metro area, Net 30 terms.

Why this, and why now:

I’ve spent this search staying operationally active rather than idle — the case studies and “What I’ve Been Building” pages on this site document that in detail. A regional operations dashboard, a global governance committee, community infrastructure serving hundreds of people, published research that reached tens of thousands. None of that stopped because I don’t currently have a W2 employer. Opening up consulting work is the same instinct applied to something that can actually generate revenue while I keep looking for the right full-time fit.

It also means I can say yes to good project work instead of watching it pass by because it wasn’t shaped like a full-time offer.

What this doesn’t change:

I’m still actively looking for a Strategic Operations Director role. W2 is still my preference for the right long-term fit, and the $110K+ target hasn’t moved. If you’re a recruiter or hiring manager with a full-time opportunity, that conversation is still very much open — see the resume and executive summary for the full picture.

If what you actually have is project-based work that needs someone who can get up to speed immediately without a six-month onboarding runway, that’s now on the table too. Details and a quote request form are here: Request a Quote.

Two doors. Both open. I’d rather have both available than force a fit that isn’t there.
